Ex-serviceman arrested for opening fire in air

JAMMU, Sept 15: Pouni Chak Police arrested an ex-serviceman for opening fire in air.
As per police sources, an ex-serviceman identified as Sanju Singh, son of Jagdeep Singh, a resident of Kukarian Tehsil Marh District Jammu has been arrested for opening fire in the air with his licensed pistol.
A case FIR Number 258/2021 under Sections 336 IPC and 30 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
However, ex-serviceman was bailed out later.
The arrest was made by Incharge Police Post Pouni Chak SI Dilawar Kumar under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
