Ex-MLA expresses concern over slow pace of development

POONCH, May 30: District president, Poonch and Ex-MLA Shah Mohammed Tantray expressed his concern over the poor development in the border district Poonch.
Addressing a joining programme, Tantray said that the Apni Party has committed towards the welfare of the people irrespective of religious or regional bias.
“The people are fed-up with the divisive agenda adopted by the traditional political parties. They have lost their ground. Hence, the Apni Party has emerged as an alternative which has gained strong support from every section of the society,” he said.
He further also criticized the authorities and field departments for their failure in initiating developmental activities and providing equal opportunities in the rural belt.
“The development seems to have come to stand still,” he said. He, however, said that the Apni Party will end all these discriminations with the people and work for the equitable development of all the regions.
He also welcomed the dozens of people who joined the Apni Party at Kunjha, Loran. The newcomers who joined the Apni Party were led by Congress Party’s leader, Reyaz Naaz. Tantray welcomed them into the party and hoped that their joining would strengthen the party at the grass root level.
Tantray said that they are carrying forward the message of party president Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari and “people stand with the policy of equality and unity which is adopted by Apni Party.”
