JAMMU, June 22: Ex-MLA Ramban, Ashok Kumar has urged upon the DDC Ramban that immediate financial help and food items should be provided to recent fire victim families whose five shops have been gutted completely in blaze along with all their belongings.
Ashok further said that the victim families totally depended on these small shops for their livelihood and now they are confronting financial crisis.
He said that Ramban administration should provide rice, pulses, flour etc to the blaze affected families as they have no money to purchase food items at this critical time when COVID-19 second wave triggered lockdown has crushed their business and the fire has destroyed it completely.
The ex-MLA also demanded fire brigade services at three places on National Highway 44 so that damage from fire might be controlled.
