Ex-central paramilitary forces’ employees highlight demands

JAMMU, May 11: Retired personnel of central para-military forces, upto the rank of inspector, highlighted the alleged discriminatory and step motherly treatment meted out to them by the constitutional ruling lords and also listed their long pending genuine demands.
The newly elected body of Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association Jammu was also ratified in a press conference held today under the leadership of SPS Malik, vice president, Confederation of All India Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association, New Delhi.
The newly elected office bearers included Advocate R S Chib as chief patron, Shashi Kumar Sharma as president, Dalip Singh as vice president, Darshan Kumar as general secretary, Janak Raj as cashier and S Dogra as advisor. They confirmed their affiliation with the Central body.
Their demands included grant of One Rank One Pension; Revision of pre 2006 retirees with grade pay; Paramilitary Service Pay as granterd to Defence forces; Grant of Disability Element to the personnel discharged on disability with pension plus disability elements at par with Defence forces; Equal duty equal wages; Establishment of Central paramilitary forces welfare boards in the State and at the Centre; CSD facilities; ECHS facility and Widow Pension to be granted equal to male pensioners.
