JAMMU, Nov 16: An ex-serviceman from Army was knocked to death by a speeding mini-bus in Domana area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the mishap occurred last night at Jammu-Akhnoor Road at Domana and the deceased was identified as Kartar Singh (75) son of Parveen Singh, resident of Machlian (Domana).
“Soon after the mishap, severely injured Kartar Singh was shifted to Army Hospital Satwari by his family members but he succumbed to his injuries there and today his body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem,” the official said. He said that a case in this connection was registered at police station Domana and further investigation started.
