JAMMU, Dec 18: Bishnah police arrested an eve teaser-cum-stalker.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Bishnah Police Station that a person driving his Swift Car bearing number JK14B-7305 used to chase school bus of a private school since last 1 to 2 months and pass obscene remarks and comments on girl students.
Acting swiftly on the complaint, a team from Police Station led by Inspector Deepak Pathania chased the eve teaser and apprehended him after a long chase on Bishnah-Bari Brahmana road.
He has been identified as Rishi Kumar alias Sonu (31), son of Jagdish Raj of Village Amir Nagar Harsa Dabber Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 223/19 under section 294 and 354-D IPC has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and investigation started.
Police have advised people to come forward if they come across any kind of complaint or crime against women folk.
