JAMMU, Apr 3: Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand today informed the Lower House that establishment of new primary schools in 12 habitations of district Doda has been projected in the current financial year Works Plan, adding that these schools would be opened subject to the feasibility, pre-determined norms and after approval from Union Ministry of HRD.
Replying to a question by Mohammad Sharief Niaz, the Deputy Chief said that the upgradation of Middle Schools in Bhaderwah Constituency at Tentli, Duduwar, Jullu, Suranga, Haja, Shami, Sunaar, Chilli, Sinder, Bharasu, Khelni, Satha and Chinchuda to the level of High Schools under RMSA would be examined subject to the feasibility, pre-determined norms and approval of MHRD.
The Deputy Chief Minister said as and when intervention is adopted, the upgradation of high schools at Dardu, Chatra, Seeri and Chaksu would be examined.
He said that high schools of Panthaan, Nagar and Bhalla are functioning on internal arrangements and no staff has been created for these schools. He however, said regularization of high schools can be examined under RMSA subject to the approval of MHRD, adding that subsequent upgradation in the area would be examined after regularization.
