JAMMU, Oct 8: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) today presented nukad “Jago Bandu Jago Baya”, under its Monday Theatre Series, here today.
The nukad started with a signature group song of ESRM “Jago Bandu Jago Baya Paar Luga Dey Apuni Naya”. The nukad was based on drug addiction among young generation in the society.
In the nukad, few children approach elders of the locality that some bad elements are making nuisance the place where they play in the evening hours. The elements are drug addicted and undisciplined, which has created insecurity and bad effect among all of them (children).
An elder person was deputed to help these children from drug addicted youth and their harassment. When elderly person approached them (drug addicts), they run away leaving behind an unconscious youth lying on the ground. The unconscious youth regains conscious, but was unable to describe what has happened to him.
The elderly person briefed the youth about the bad happenings of drug addiction. The elderly person also asked the youth to stop bad habit and don’t disturb the children, who play in the ground peacefully.
Those who acted in the nukad were Shelly, Raju, Shahid, Kavita, Khushi, Rageesh, Mohit, Daksh, Rohit and Vijay Malla.
This play was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
