JAMMU, Apr 21: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) in collaboration with Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented Vijay Malla’s Hindustani play titled ‘Samaaj Aur Hum’ here at Durga Bhawan, Janipur, in its Monday Theatre Series.
The play is an appeal for common citizens to change their attitude and approach towards nation and perform their duties for welfare of the society, State and nation.
By means of play, the artists urged the common man to stop the evils of drug addiction, which creates miserable economic condition in their families.
The play educates that we must stop use of polythene in our daily life, which is a big threat for environment and our health. It also advises young generation to adopt our traditions, mother tongue and customs and act accordingly.
Those who acted in the play were KK Joshi, Mahesh Kotwal, Balvinder Richo, Kanta Sharma, Nisha Jotshi, Anuroop Pathania, Rakesh Katoch, Hitanshu Jinsi, Deepak Dogra, Raju Mad and Vijay Malla.
This play was written and directed by Vijay Malla and assisted by Anuroop Pathania.
