JAMMU, Feb 1: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) in collaboration with BLSKS today presented the nukkad ‘Nayee Souch Nayya Khhwab’ at a slum area near JAKFED quarters in Paloura area of city outskirts.
‘Nayee Souch Nayya Khhwab’ is a progressive play with awareness particularly for the part of that society, which is deprived of knowledge, education and medical facilities because of their economic backwardness.
Through nukkad, ESRM artists stressed that education is very important aspect of life and every child must go to school to get education for their bright future. The nukkad shows the miseries of an uneducated man, who remains unaware of facilities, concessions and help from the Government.
To encourage children, who do not go to schools, the group of ESRM artists presented a scene of educated and uneducated persons showing how an educated person progresses in life.
In the last scene of the nukkad, the bad habit of boozing was highlighted with a question mark “why the labour class is indulging in this bad habit of wasting their hard earned money’.
The nukkad concluded with ESRM’s signature song ‘Jago Bandhu Jago Bhaiya’.
The actors who acted in the nukkad include KK Joshi, MC Kotwal, Naveen Pal, Raju Mad, Gopal Singh, Virender Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Mubhasar, Ershad, Tahir, Nihal and Vijay Malla.
