JAMMU, June 17: The inhabitants of Adarsh Enclave Lower Gadhi Ghar near Karan Bagh, Jammu are facing acute power crisis for weeks tighter in this hot Summer when mercury has touched peak.
In a statement issued here, today the residents of the area said that electricity is supplied for four to six hours a day while the people are facing problems due to heat wave for rest of the day as neither fans nor coolers can work without power. They said that they have apprised the authorities of the problem a number of times but to no avail as no body in the Department took pains to solve the problem.
The inhabitants in an appeal to Chief Engineer M&RE, Jammu have sought his immediate intervention in the matter and urged him to solve the problem.
