JAMMU, June 17: A drug addict was found dead today in Talab Tillo area of city outskirts.
“Amit Kumar (20) son of Dev Raj, resident of Kabir Colony, Talab Tillo, was found lying in unconscious condition near his residence,” a police official said, adding some syringes were also recovered from the spot.
He said Amit was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“After getting conducted postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites,” the official added.
