GANDHINAGAR, May 2: The 7th batch of the National Law University phase of the induction training programme for direct recruit Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers of Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Batch 2025, concluded at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar on May 1.
The 28-day programme was held from April 6 to May 1 and ended with a valedictory session attended by Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I and Chief Learning Officer at PDUNASS New Delhi Rizwan Uddin, GNLU Registrar Dr Nitin Malik and Head of Training Division Prof Hardik H Parikh.
During the programme, officers were trained in EPF laws, landmark judgments of High Courts and the Supreme Court, and practical aspects of field functioning.
Interactive sessions, group discussions and case study analysis were also conducted to strengthen legal knowledge and decision-making skills of the trainees.
Addressing the officers, Rizwan Uddin stressed the need to apply the learning in field offices with integrity, responsibility and sound legal understanding.
GNLU authorities highlighted the role of public servants in public welfare and service-oriented governance.
Participants appreciated the training arrangements, academic environment and facilities provided during the programme.
