EPFO conducts ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’

JAMMU, Jan 10: “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” for the month of January, 2022 was conducted by EPFO Regional Office, Jammu today for the stakeholders of Jammu & Kashmir UT.
EPFO is servicing the entire area from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh with regard to settlement of claims. Considering the large number of grievances and to ensure service delivery at doorsteps, various online initiatives of EPFO such as balance enquiry, filing of online claims including transfer and COVID-19 advance claims and members’ basic details were explained through demonstration.
Various employees appeared in the programme with different requests. One said his passbook was not available in the portal. Others came with other grievances. Rizwan Uddin, Regional P. F. Commissioner personally attended them and advised their employer to mark exit in their old UAN and asked them to submit one member one EPF account request Form-13 through their respective latest UANs on member home portal.
Pranav Gupta, ASO completed data entry for 50 out of 60 joint-declarations of M/s C I S Bureau and five joint- declaration of M/s Vardan Security today where a grievance was pending for almost one month.
Ravi Aggarwal from M/s Tirupati Contractor and Sham Aggarwal from M/s Minni Pack appeared with request for transfer of their member balances from JKEPFO to EPFO. Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I asked JKEPFO employees to transfer their balances as soon as possible. Representative of M/s Sai Santosh also appeared in the programme to change the name of one of their employee from as it has been wrongly updated member profile.
Programme was held under strict COVID protocol, and member equally cooperated in this behalf. A long pending grievance of multiple employees of M/s ESS ESS Packers was also got processed on advice of Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin.
Harinder Singh, RPFC-II, Accounts (Kashmir) and holding charge of RC-II, Administration taking note of grievance of members and employers of Kashmir Valley, issued necessary directions to Ritesh Kohli, SSSA to complete pending joint declarations of all members, received in RO, Kashmir within three days.
The endeavor of ‘Nidhi Apke Nikat” programme has always been to redress the maximum number of cases/grievances the same day or at the earliest.
