LEH, Mar 13: In a ceremony steeped in tradition and reverence, the sacred enthronement of Khan Rinpoche Konchok Rangdol from Tingmosgang as Khanchen Rinpoche of the Drikung Kagyu lineage was held at the Drikung Kagyu main monastery, Jangchubling, in Dehradun (Uttarakhand).
The occasion coincided with the anniversary of the great yogi Milarepa and the 14th day of the Month of Miracles. The event was graced by the presence of His Holiness Drikung Skyabgon Chetsang, along with senior monks, disciples, and devotees from across the region.
Chairman-cum-Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Khanchen Rinpoche Konchok Rangdol. “I hope that his spiritual guidance continues to shine as a beacon of wisdom and compassion, bringing immense benefit to all sentient beings,” he remarked.
The enthronement marks a significant moment in the spiritual lineage of the Drikung Kagyu tradition, reaffirming the continuity of its sacred teachings and the profound legacy of wisdom passed down through generations.
