JAMMU, Oct 26: National Conference (NC) Minority Cell president M K Yogi today urged the government to ensure safety and security of minorities putting up in Kashmir Valley.
In a statement issued here today Yogi expressed concern over the withdrawal of security from some Hindu religious places and localities inhabited by minorities in Kashmir and demanded that government should ensure fool proof security to them.
He also expressed concern over the order issued by the administration asking teachers to guard the school building which is not possible for them. He said it is the duty of administration to ensure security and safety of schools and when administration having police and security forces at its disposal is unable to do the same how can the teachers’ ensure security of the school buildings.
Yogi expressed concern over the failure of Government to provide ration to migrants for last three months and alleged that those who were claiming to be the champions of Kashmiri Pandits even withheld their monthly ration after coming to power.
