KATRA, Oct 26: A Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrim died here today due to cardiac arrest near Pony Stand at the Bhavan.
The deceased was identified as Jaswant Prasad Chowdhary (66), a resident of Nanauli district, Rupendhi, Nepal. He suddenly fell unconscious this morning near Pouni Stand and was rushed to the nearby health centre where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Later the dead body was shifted to Katra hospital for legal formalities.
