JAMMU, Apr 29: Officers and officials of different Government departments here today got retired from their services on attaining the age of superannuation.
A function was organized at the office of Joint Director, Stores Procurement Department, Pampore to accord warm send off to Subash Kotha, Superintending Engineer (Joint Director Stores Procurement Department), who attained superannuation after rendering 31 years of unblemished service in various capacities at different departments of J&K government.
Dr. Chander Parkash, Assistant Director Health Education Bureau, Health Services Jammu was accorded a warm send off on his superannuation by the staff of Directorate of Health Services Jammu. Dr. Chander Parkash rendered 31 years of service to the Department. To bid him farewell, a function was organized. Dr. Chander Parkash served the Department in various capacities. The staff wished the retiring officer good health and prosperous post retirement life.
A warm farewell was given by Principal and staff of GGHSS Canal Road Jammu to Suresh Raina, Vice Principal on his attaining superannuation. On this occasion Principal of the School, Parveen Raina threw light on the 30 year carrier of Suresh Raina and wished him healthy and happy post retirement life.
Govt Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar Jammu accorded warm send off to two retiring officers by organizing a farewell function at school auditorium. The officers who retired from service were Alka Malhotra, Sr. Lecturer in Botany and Romal Singh, Lecturer in Mathematics. Principal of the School, Ravinder Kour along with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school wished the retiring officers good health and prosperity for the next phase of their life.
Vinod Kumar Pandita, Senior Manager got retired under VRS. He was accorded farewell at Ellaquai Dehati Bank, Area Office Jammu and his services to the Bank for last 38 years were recalled and appreciated. Management and staff of the Bank wished him a healthy retirement life.
Warm send off functions were today organized by the officers and men of IRP 7th Bn at Bn. Hqrs Seri Kot Bhalwal Jammu to honour the retirees-Jagdev Singh Salathia, SP; Madan Lal Choudhary, Dy.SP; ASI, Mahinder Singh; ASI, Kewal Krishan; HC, Ravinder Kumar and HC, Dilawar Khan. The main function was presided over by Sukhdev Raj, SSP Commandant of the Battalion. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the retiring officers and officials for their selfless service, indomitable spirit and inspiring leadership qualities during their services. Others present on the occasion were Nasir Ahmed, SP; Dy.CO IRP-7th Bn; Tilak Raj Rana, SP Quartermaster IRP 7th Bn; Jitinder Singh, DySP; Sarabjeet Singh, Dy.SP; Sushma Kotwal, Dy.SP; Vijay Dhar, Dy.SP and Pawan Sharma, Dy.SP.
On the superannuation of seven officers and officials of GRP Jammu-SI Keshav Anand, SI Neelofar Akhter, SI Inderjeet Singh, SI Balbir Singh, SI Raj Kumar, SI Kamal Kumar and ASI Mohd Zakir a function was organized at GRP lines Jammu by Dy.SP Lines and his team. On this occasion SSP Railways Jammu, M.L Kaith gave graceful and warm farewell to all and presented them gifts as a token of affection and regards for their unblemished services to the department in presence of their family members. All ranks of GRP extended best wishes for the post- retirement life of superannuating personnel.
Divisional Commissioner Office, Jammu accorded a warm farewell to a retiring official of Revenue Department-Pyare Lal Bhat, Patwari who served for 31 years in Revenue Department. He was presently working in the court of Divisional Commissioner Jammu. Speaking on the occasion, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar wished the retiring official a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu bid a warm farewell to Assistant Cultural Officer, Bal Krishan and Information Assistant, Suresh Kumar who attained superannuation today. An impressive function was organized to bid farewell to the officials. Speaking on the occasion, Joint Director Information (Hqrs) hailed the services rendered by the retiring officials of DIPR.
