Eleven injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Mar 21: Eleven persons were injured today in three separate road mishaps in outskirts of this winter capital of the State.
A rashly driven mini-bus which was on its way from Jammu to Badyal Brahmana (RS Pura) turned turtle this evening just some metres short of its destination, resulting into injuries to seven persons. All the injured were shifted Sub District Hospital, RS Pura, from where four of them were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for specialized treatment.
Those shifted to GMCH Jammu were Arti Sharma (46) wife of Surinder Kumar, Vansh (2) son of Suraj, Neelam Sharma (40) wife of Rajesh Kumar and Rachna Kumari (16) daughter of Janak Raj, all residents of Badyal Brahmana.
Another mishap occurred at Akhnoor where a scooty collided with an auto. In the mishap, Bir Mohd (35) son of Mohd Bashir (35), resident of Qasim Nagar, his wife namely Shanaj (34) and his son, Armani (10), were injured. All of them were hospitalized.
A 15-year-old Narinder Kumar son of Satpal, resident of Ramnagar, sustained injuries due to fall from a moving bus at Jhajjar Kotli. She was also shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
