Electronics Retailers met Kavinder, demand opening of shops

JAMMU, May 6: A delegation of Jammu Electronics Retailers Association (JERA) led by its President, Tarun Sharma and General Secretary, Indu Bhushan Sharma met former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta and apprised him of the problems being faced by them due to ongoing lockdown.
The delegation mentioned about a recent government order permitting only Association of Electric Dealers Jammu (AEDJ) and not JERA to open shops for starting the trade.
The delegation members requested the former Deputy Chief Minister to allow sale and purchase of fans and coolers by granting movement passes to the members of JERA having proprietorships of small shops and establishment of electronic appliances.
Kavinder Gupta assured the delegation that he will take up the issue with the Lt. Governor for early redressal.
The delegation comprised of Mohan Lal Gupta, Chairman JERA; Vice President, Surinder Baria; Rajesh Uppal, Advisor JERA; Jagjit Singh, Anmol Singh, Cashier; Akshay Gupta and Joginder Gupta.
