KATRA, July 18 An elderly male pilgrim from Chattisgarh died of cardiac arrest near Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, here today
The deceased was identified as Panchu Dass (68), son of Mukhi of Mankachori, Kwardha in Chattisgarh. He collapsed near Gate number 5 soon after performing Darshan. He was immediately shifted to dispensary Bhawan where doctors, after medical examination, declared him as brought dead.
Later, Police telephonically informed his relatives about the death and shifted the dead body to CHC Katra.
