JAMMU, Apr 10: An elderly man was today found dead beside a road at Talli Morh in Miran Sahib area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Bishan Dutt (85) son of late Munshi Ram, resident of Talli Morh (Miran Sahib), was found in unconscious condition on road side near Talli Morh, this morning.
He said that the man was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
He said that there was no injury mark on the body of the deceased and he probably died due to heart attack while he was on a morning walk. In this connection, Miran Sahib police has initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC.
