JAMMU, Apr 10: In connection with celebration of Party’s Foundation Day BJP Tika Lal Taplo Mandal organized a function at Jagti under the leadership of BJP Displaced District president Chand Ji Bhat.
Ashok Koul general secretary (Org) BJP was the chief guest on the occasion. He highlighted the role of BJP since the days of Praja Parishad and Bharatiya Jana Sangh.
Koul said the BJP is fully abreast with the problems of the community and it will take all steps in solving them.
The function was also addressed by MLC Girdhari Lal Raina (Ajay Bharti). He assured the community that he will try his best to come up to their expectations.
Tika Lal Taploo Mandal Prabhari and BJP Displaced district vice president Advocate R K Koul also spoke on the occasion and P L Dhar general secretary of the district.
The function was organized by T N Bhat ex-president displaced district, Chaman Lal secretary Kashmir displaced district and R K Koul and youth of the camp.
R K Koul demanded immediate solution of water problem of Jagti, face lifting of quarters and their renovation, handing over possession to shopkeepers in whose name quarters have been allotted and recruitment drive in police be launched.
Others who addressed included Roshan Lal Raina, B L Thusu, Sohan Lal Pandita, Ashok Dhar, Ramesh Koul, Veena Gutoo and Dolly Raina.
