EJAC submits memo to Advisor Bhatnagar

JAMMU, Feb 5: A delegation of J&K Employees Joint Action Committee (R) led by its president Babu Hussain Malik met Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to Lt Governor and submitted a memorandum of its demands.
The main issued which came up for discussion during the meeting include removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre/amendment in SRO 333, notionally benefits with effect from 01/1996 and monetary benefits from 02/2003 as per High Court directions, restoration of 2 additional increments on clearing secretariat Assistant Examination Course, which has been stopped vide SRO 333 dated 02-08-2018.
The delegation appealed the Advisor to examine all pending files of daily wagers/casual labourers under SRO 520 and issue necessary directions, regularize all daily wagers/contractual/casual labourers and Anganwari workers, releasing pending wages of daily wagers/casual labourers and implementation of Minium Wages Act in J&K on the pattern of Central Government.
The Advisor patiently listened to the grievances of the delegation and assured to take all possible steps to resolve pending issues of the employees.
