KISHTWAR, July 27: Eight passengers were injured when a car they were travelling in, rolled down the road in Chatroo area.
According to the reports, an Eco car bearing registration number JK17A-1020 driven in a rash and negligent manner by an unknown driver from Chatroo towards Sigdi when reached near Bhawani market met with an accident resulting into the injuries to eight passengers.
The injured were identified as Sanjay Kumar (36) son of Bansi Lal of Nanzala, Jaan Begum (36) wife of Abdul Rashid of Balana, Zerna Begum (22) daughter of Abdul Gani of Balana, Abdul (35) son of Abdul Karim of Balana, Rashid Ahmed (26) son of Mohd Shafi of Sigdi Balana, Akshay Kumar son of Balkrishnan of Hindgam, Sanjay Kumar (22) of Sigdi and Mokhni of Balana Sigdi.
All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital, Kishtwar for treatment while a case in this connection was registered at police station Chatroo and investigation started.
