‘Hike monthly cash relief to Rs 25,000 per family’

JAMMU, July 27: The protest demonstration by Soan Kashmir Front at Jagti Township Nagrota today entered day 299.
Addressing the protesters Shadi Lal Pandita, Front president appealed J&K LG to solve the problems of relief holder Kashmiri Pandits.
He demanded hike in monthly cash relief to relief holder KPs from Rs. 13,000 to Rs. 25,000 per family per month as prices of petrol, diesel etc have gone up.
The Front leader also demanded employment package of 20,000 jobs for unemployed KP youths including 5,000 Class IV posts for unemployed youth who are only matriculate.
Other demand by Pandita was recruitment of KP youth in police force.
Raj Kumar Tickoo, Ravinder Koul, M.L Razdan, Rakesh Ambardar, Rakesh Tickoo, Shuban Raina, Vinod Bhat, Kamal Pandita, Vijay Bakshi, Ram Krishan, Ramesh Suri, Rakesh Koul, Raj Kumar Bhat, S. Charanjeet Singh and others were also present in the protest.
