Jammu, Mar 24: Madan Lal Sharma, coalition candidate from Jammu-Poonch constituency addressed Private Teachers Association members and students at Jammu Club and called upon them to support him. He said their vote is for ensuring development where in youth get opportunity to earn a dignified livelihood.
He said that Congress has launched many self- employment schemes where in skills of the youth are up-graded and made them capable of earning.
Mr. Sharma said that UPA Government has initiated many recruitment drives and strengthened State Government to provide employment avenues in the State. He said that coming up of railway division, new railway links has also created new job opportunities. Mr. Sharma also said that as MP he has strongly raised the issue of border people, ex-servicemen & refugees in the Parliament & sanctioning of one rank one pension scheme. The package for refugees is in process & sanctioning of major bridges and other infrastructures is outcome of his efforts.
Groups of educationists, youth & other communities expressed faith in the leadership of Mr. Sharma & assured their support.
Mr. Sharma also addressed a series of public-cum-workers meeting in Gurha Baskhi, Gole Talab Tillo, Kabir Colony wherein a large number of his supporters gathered and assured him of their full support. Prominent among others present on the occasion includes Raman Bhalla Minister, Yogesh Sawhney Ex-Minister, Dharam Veer Jamwal, Ex. Mayor, Kamal Gupta, Rashpal Singh, Corporator, O.N Koul, Ashok, Uttam Singh, Chaman Lal and Vishno Dutt.
