JAMMU, Jan 17: Various educational institutions celebrated birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh (Gurpurab) with relious fervour and gaiety.
The jubilant students of Guru Nanak House Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar celebrated birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh with religious fervor and gaiety in the school premises. On the occasion, students recited Gurbani and also delivered speeches on the life and teachings of the great Guru. Rameshwar Mengi, Principal spoke about the need of inculcation of values professed by the great Guru.
RM College of Education, Management and IT celebrated Gurpurab. On the occasion, Trustee of the College Rita Mengi, Principal PK Dhar, staff members and students were present. Shabad Kirtan was preformed by the students, followed by Ardas. While speaking, HoD of RM College Management and IT RS Moza stressed to follow the footsteps of Guru Govind Singh.
