JAMMU, Nov 22: Former MLA Raipur Damana Bharat Bushan has expressed concern over the harassment meted out to some masters of Jammu through the hands of Education Department authorities.
In a statement issued here, today he said 20 masters are unattached for last over two months due to the callousness of authorities. He said these masters were transferred and while joining their new place of posting they were informed by the authorities there that the post was not available in the school.
He said a teacher transferred from Government HS Rakhian to G H Kanachak is running from pillar to post for her adjustment as the Headmaster of Kanachak refused to entertain her joining report on the pretext that no post is available.
He also expressed concern over the dilapidated condition of Bantalab Grota road and the bridge washed away in 2014 floods has not been constructed till date. He said in Bhalwal Block the liabilities amounting to Rs five core have not been cleared for last three years out of which three crore are wages of labourers.
