The present scenario of our School Education Department is in shambles. There is no definite transfer policy of lecturers, masters, teachers. Pick and choose policy for posting is the norm of the day.
Inchargism and adhocism in both teaching and non-teaching faculties have made our employees the worst sufferers. Grease the palm and get your work done is order of the day in our school education affairs.
In clerical cadre, people were prompted as in charge senior assistant and in charge Head Assistant some 2-3 years ago. Most of them have proceeded on superannuation. But till date their regularization orders have yet to see the light of the day.
Similarly the fate of time bound cases of Master Grade and other cadres are in doldrums for the last about 2 years. People sitting at the top of hierarchy should undestand this responsibility. Rampant corruption has become a common phenomena in the offices. It is high time for the bureaucracy that one should understand and realise the gravity of the situation and regularise all pending cases of Senior Assistant and Head Assistant and also issue time bound promotion orders of Masters and other cadres without any further delay in the matter.
