JAMMU, Apr 23: Government today constituted a Task Force and a Sub-Committee for minimizing regulatory compliance burden for implementing ‘Ease of Doing Business’ in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the order, Chief Secretary of J&K will be the chairman of the Task Force while Administrative Secretaries of Finance, Health and Medical Education (H&ME), Revenue, Housing and Urban Development (H&UD), Power Development, School Education, Industries and Commerce (I&C), General Administration, Mining, Labour and Employment (L&E), Jal Shakti, Tourism, Forest, Planning and Law departments will be its members.
“The Task Force shall finalize/approve proposals submitted by the Sub-Committee for minimizing regulatory compliance burden for implementing Ease of Doing Business,” the order stated and mentioned that Administrative Secretary of I&C Department will be chairman of the Sub-Committee while one each representative (not below the rank of Additional secretary) of Finance, H&ME, Revenue, H&UD, Power Development, School Education, General Administration, Mining, L&E, Forest, Jal Shakti, Planning, Tourism and Law departments will be its members.
As per the order, the Sub-Committee shall frame/prepare proposals for minimizing/reducing regulatory compliance burden for implementing Ease of Doing Business and place the same before the Task Force constituted for the purpose.
