JAMMU, Feb 27: Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand today conducted surprise inspection of various 12th class examination centers in the city.
Chairman, J&K Board of School Education Dr. Sheikh Bashir Ahmad and other senior officers of Board accompanied the Deputy Chief Minister
Tara Chand directed the board authorities to maintain strict discipline in the centers and ensure that students take examination in a stress free atmosphere. Aim of the authorities is to ensure that undue pressure on students gets released by ensuring proper conduct in the examination centers, he added.
He said copying in examination has to be strictly checked and all measures have to be taken for ensuring fair examination, adding that the duty staff should be periodically changed and inter school duties should be encouraged.
Both private and Government schools were inspected, which include, Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar, Government Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar and Unique Public School, Rani Bagh.
