DYC expresses concern over Chinese incursion

LEH, July 13: Youth Congress has expressed concern over the recent Chinese incursion in Koyul village of Changthang region of Ladakh.
In a press conference here today District Youth Congress (DYC) president, Dorje Gialson along with DYC General Secretary, Tundup Nurboo flayed the non-timely interference and non-timely action against the intrusion at border in the area of Doole, Koyoul village on the occasion of 84th birth anniversary of Dalia Lama.
Gialson told reporters that it was unfortunate and against the sentiments of Buddhist community of Ladakh.
He further said that China mostly attempts to occupy the pasture land at Indian side resulting in great difficulties to the people in grazing their live stock which is their main source of livelihood in Changthang region.
DYC condemned authorities for not taking timely action under BJP led Union Government and Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh.
