JAMMU, Sept 5: A team of Crime Branch, Jammu raided the offices of Vikrant Finance Company and recovered more than Rs 62 lakh investors’ money.
A case has already been registered under Section 420,406,120-B RPC against partners of the company for cheating and misappropriating the deposited amount under a criminal conspiracy.
The accused, partners include Kewal Koul of Ward number 7 Rajouri, Rakesh Kumar of Ward number 9 Rajouri, Ashwani Kumar of Ward Number 7 Rajouri and Kamal Gupta of Ward number 12 Rajouri.
CBJ team, headed by Mohd Ibrahim, Dy SP CB Jammu, raided at Rajouri and recovered Rs 62, 00,322 from the possession of accused Rakesh Kumar who is on interim bail. According to a handout, Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri has been requested to identify the movable and immovable property of the accused persons so that their property could be confiscated in the instant case.
