JAMMU, Apr 12 Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo released the second edition of LED glow of highly revered Mata Kheer Bhawani here, today.
The LED glow was released by him after office bearers of Mata Kheer Bhawani Ji Welfare Society (MKBJWS) called on him in his office chambers.
Speaking on the occasion, Dulloo hoped that social harmony would get strengthen and ‘society comes together on the occasion of Mata Kheer Bhawani Mela in June this year’.
The LED glow, made by MKBJWS, contains audio Katha (story) of Ragnya Bhawani and 35 most popular devotional Kashmiri songs in her praise and prayer.
The LED glow, MP3 contains the story of Ragnya Bhawani which has been written by Dr Agnishekhar.
Speaking about the new initiative, Kiran Wattal, convener of MKBJWS, said that there was always a need to attract young people to the heritage and culture of Kashmiri Pandits and this was an attempt in that direction.
“Also, the power of story and music is immense, so having it around the holy seat will add to the devotional atmosphere,” he added.
Wattal also complimented Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner, Arvind Karwani and other senior officers of the administration for their support for the successful conduct of Navreh programme at Vicharnag, Srinagar in Kashmir Valley.
Among those present on the occasion included Ashok Sumbli, Pyare Lal Pandita (Lolab) and Raj Kumar Tickoo.
Earlier, Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, who attended a highly impressive Saptrishi Samvat Navreh programme in Srinagar on April 9, had unveiled the latest edition of LED ‘Pratima’ of Mata Kheer Bhawani.
