JAMMU, July 24: As a part of CSR&SD programme, Dulhasti Power Station handed over 10 mobile tent toilets along with its accessories and sanitary fittings to Sarv Shakti Sevak Sanstha, the management of Machail Mata Yatra for use of male and female pilgrims and others.
The initiative has been taken by Yoginder Kotha, Head of Dulhasti Power Station on need basis on the request of general public and district administration in particular and it is one more step of NHPC towards Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
The annual Machail Mata Yatra attracts lakhs of devotees to district Kishtwar from all parts of the country. This support of Dulhasti Power Station will facilitate the yatris and others and will also help in prevention of open defecation especially during the yatra.
The toilets and other sanitary material were handed by Manager (HR) Jugal K Sharma to the Management of Machail Mata Yatra in the presence of Rattan Sharma, Manager and Viney Kumar of Dulhasti Power Station. The office bearers of the Sansthan Rajinder Singh, Sharwan Kumar and Ved Gupta were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, the convener of Machail Mata Yatra, ShriSewa Ram Gulhari said that this initiative will certainly be helpful in making the Yatra More comfortable for pilgrims & others. He expressed his sincere gratitude for the extended support and thanked to ShriYoginderkotha for the same.
