JAMMU, Nov 6: To mark 46th NHPC Raising Day, Dulhasti Power Station in collaboration with District Hospital, Kishtwar organised a voluntary blood donation camp at Project Hospital of Dulhasti Power Station.
Nirmal Singh, General Manager (In-Charge), Dulhasti Power Station inaugurated the camp in the presence of Dr. Parvez Iqbal Wani, Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Kishtwar and he also donated blood to motivate the employees to participate in the noble cause.
A total of 20 persons including officers and employees of Dulhasti power station and Jawans of Central Industrial Security Force donated blood in the camp. Dr. Nasir Irfan, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Dulhasti Power Station and his team along with District Hospital Kishtwar successfully accomplished the blood donation camp.
Apart from this, COVID-19 test of all the donors was also done before they donated blood.
On this occasion, R.N Sharma, Deputy General Manager (Civil); G.C Sinha, Deputy General Manager (Electrical); Gursharan Singh, Deputy General Manager (Electrical); Sanjay Kumar Singh, Senior Manager (Finance); Ashok Kumar Dhanwal, Senior Manager (HR) and other senior officers and employees were also present.
