JAMMU, July 19: Dogra Students Scholars Forum (DSSF) held protest against the Higher Education Department for ignoring Dogri in all upgraded higher secondary schools.
The members of DSSF assembled at the main gate of the Jammu University and held protest. They raised slogans against the Higher Education Department for ignoring Dogri.
While speaking, DSSF member Kailash Mohan requested the administration to implement Dogri as a compulsory subject from primary level to university level.
He also demanded opening of Dogri Department in all campuses of Jammu University and SMVDU implementation of Dogri in Army Schools, Kendriya Vidyalaya and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
Among others present were Anil, Bhupinder, Manu Sharma, Jyoti, Anu, Ajay, Parvesh Kumari, Sahil, Sukhdev, Shallu and Meenakshi.
