JWAM stages protest; demands Ring Road, Metro Train

JAMMU, July 19: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists here today staged a protest demonstration demanding Ring Road and Metro Train facilities from Amphalla-Manda to Akhnoor via Janipur High Court.
Addressing protesters JWAM president, Sunil Dimple appealed to the Governor to construct flyovers, ring roads and solve the traffic problem of Jammu city.
The protesters were raising slogans against the widening of Amphalla-Janipur High Court-Bantalab road from both sides
They claimed that this will affect livelihood of many people having shops at the road.
Dimple demanded intervention of Governor, Satya Pal Malik to resolve the issue of accidents taking place on Jammu roads and said that Rehari Chungi-Jewal Chowk flyover should be constructed immediately to solve traffic problem.
Prominent among protesters were Jagdish Raj Gupta, Ramesh Mahajan, Sonu Kumar, Arjun Anand, Rajeev Kumar, Sumit Kumar, Papa Kumar, S. Tarlok Singh, Happy Kumar, Mohinder Kumar, Raman Kumar, Sita Ram, Bal Kumar, Ashwani Nayar, Sita Ram, Ramesh, Chander Kohli and others.
