Excelsior Correspondent

BANI (KATHUA), Mar 18: Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan (DSS) president and former Member Parliament, Ch Lal Singh today said that DSS was committed to bring end to the discrimination being caused by various political parties against Jammu region.
Addressing large gathering after taking road show at Bani town today, Ch Lal Singh said that Jammu has always faced discrimination from Kashmir centric parties. Even they have not received justice from New Delhi. The people from Jammu region have always been taken for granted. They have faced discrimination on every field whether it is distribution of funds, jobs or sanctioning of major projects. Even most of the tourism related projects have always been sanctioned for Kashmir.
He appealed the people of Bani constituency to support DSS in the Lok Sabha elections and ensure its win. Lal Singh said only DSS can bring end to age old discrimination against Jammu people.
Lal Singh reiterated that the demand of the CBI probe by of the people of Jammu is highly justified and the persons sitting in the power are not listening to the demand and did not understand the gravity of the situation. It is very simple that when the issue becomes controversial, it is the duty of the Government to hold the CBI inquiry. Why the demand of the people of Jammu is being listened? Why there is discrimination with Jammu on every issue?
The people of Jammu always believe that the Kashmir is always getting more attention because the so called national parties do not listen to the demand of the common people. Same is the case with the people of the Jammu now a days. The MP’s are coming in the choppers and having meetings only at the district headquarters.
A large number of youth led by former Minister and two times MP, Ch Lal Singh took an extensive tour of Basholi and Bani raising slogans in favour of the long pending demand of Jammu people. Later, majority of the people of the Bani pledged and extended full support to the Ch Lal Singh.
