DSE inaugurates computer lab

JAMMU, Apr 29: Director School Education, Tushar Kanti Sharma inaugurated a computer laboratory at Government Girls High School Kachi Chawni here today.
Additional Commissioner Rehana Batul, Principal SRML Higher Secondary School, G.S. Manhas, Incharge of the School, Sunita Gupta, Sukhdev Singh Jamwal, Advocate D.C. Raina and students in large number were present on the occasion.
Director School Education, who was the chief guest on the occasion, exhorted upon the students to drive maximum benefit from the computers, adding that computer literacy has become vital for making a mark in every field of life. He appreciated the gesture of Sukhdev Singh Jamwal for donating six computers to the institution. He urged the parents to send their wards in Government schools as these institutions have well qualified and experienced staff. He appealed the teachers to work with dedication and utmost zeal and impart quality education to the students so that they can effectively face future challenges.
Additional Commissioner Rehana Batul said that computer is the lifeline of future and there is need of hour to generate computer knowledge among students in order to compete at any level. She said that it should be collective endeavor to help and encourage students studying in government schools for their better future.
Sukhdev Singh Jamwal also announced five more computers for the institution.
