KATHUA, July 8: Police arrested three drug peddlers along with 15.90 grams heroin.
As per police spokesman, on specific information, a team from Kathua police station laid a naka at Parliwand Jarai Chowk and intercepted three persons.
During checking, police recovered 15.90 grams heroin from their possession of three persons and arrested them.
The accused has been identified as Jugal Kishore, son of Inderdev Sharma of Utthal Salari Tehsil Sunderbani, Kishor Sharma, son of Tilak Raj of Lubani Tehsil Sunderbani and Sahil Sharma, son of Somnath Sharma of Dandsara Tehsil Nowshera District Rajouri.
A case under FIR Number 199/17 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at police station Kathua and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Kathua Inspector Anil Kumar Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kathua SS Sambyal and SSP Kathua Mohammad Suleman Choudhary.
