Drug peddler held with intoxicant injections, tablets

JAMMU, Oct 26: A drug peddler was arrested along with large quantity of intoxicant injections and tablets.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Pacca Danga police station conducted a raid in Patel Bazar area and nabbed a drug peddler.
On his disclosure, police recovered 472 intoxicant injections and 350 tablets from the area, where he kept the consignment.
The accused has been identified as Deepak alias Deepu, son of Raman Kumar, a resident of Patel Bazaar.
He is a drug addict and also use to sell the narcotics among the masses especially youths to make them drug addict. With the arrest of the accused, police achieved a major success.
A case under Narcotic drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against the accused at Pacca Danga police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Pacca Danga police station Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria and Incharge Chowk Chabutra police post SI Sunil Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Perbeet Singh Parihar, SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
