ESRM presents ‘Rishton Ki Ahmiyut’

JAMMU, Oct 26: Ek Sath Rang Mandal in collaboration with BLSKS staged Vijay Malla’s new nukkad “Rishton Ki Ahmiyut” in its Monday Theatre Series at Naseeb Nagar, Janipur, here today.
The play underlines that human relations have much importance in everybody’s life. ‘Rishton Ki Ahmiyut’ describes the responsibilities of children towards their parents, who are mostly at their last stage of life.
The play revolves around an old couple who are totally depending on their children for their survival but latter almost ignore them, as they are too much busy with their own work. They have busy schedule and do not have much time to attend to their old parents who have hope and expectations from their children whom they have made capable to earn their livelihood.
The old couple is in a fix that what will be their fate and how can they pull on with their life. But to their surprise their grand children are more anxious for their welfare than their own children. Grand children of the old couple decide that they will spare two hours every day from their study schedule for their grandparents. They share happiness of their life with them and learn culture and traditions from them. The grand children prove to be eye opener for their parents. Now, old couple is happy and excited.
Actors who performed were Vijay Malla, Nisha Suri, Adison, Royal Brother, Qurat-ul-Ain, Niahal and Nisha Devi. The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla and assisted by Nisha Suri.
