BHADERWAH, Dec 30: Police here today arrested a drug peddler and recovered Charas-like substance weighing about 100-150 gm from him.
Cops from Police Station Bhaderwah during patrolling duty in Bhaderwah Bazar intercepted a suspicious person near Fiza Hotel and during his search cops found Charas-like substance, weighing around 140 grams.
The accused was identified as Naresh Kumar, son of Kasturi Lal, resident of Gulu Top, Kahara, at present near Fire Station Bhaderwah, District Doda.
Accordingly, a case in FIR with No. 163/2025 under Sections 8/20 of NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
The whole operation was carried out under the supervision of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, SDPO Bhaderwah, Naveed Qazi and IC PS Bhaderwah, Rinku Sharma.
