Drug peddler held with heroin-like-substance

SAMBA, Feb 22: A drug peddler was arrested with 4.14 grams of heroin-like-substance from Vijaypur area here today.

Anil Choudhary of Ranjari, tehsil Vijaypur, district Samba, was arrested with the consignment by a team of Police Station Vijaypur during routine naka checking at Rahya Morh, Vijaypur, a police official said.

He said the accused was accordingly booked in case FIR number 24/2025 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Vijaypur and further investigation taken up.

The arrest was made under the supervision of SSP Samba Varinder Manhas.
