JAMMU, July 17: A drug peddler was arrested with 3 grams of heroin here at Bishnah Town today, police said.
They said Naresh Kumar of Mehmoodpur, Bishnah, was arrested with the consignment by a team of Bishnah Police Station led by SDPO RS Pura, Nikhil Gogna, assisted by SHO Bishnah, Inspector Vikram Sharma, during routine checking at Skinderpur, Bishnah.
The accused has been arrested in case FIR number 170/2023 Under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Bishnah Police Station, police said.
“Further investigation is on,” they said.
