Drug peddler held with charas

JAMMU, Feb 9: Domana Police today arrested a drug peddler with 142.32 grams of charas from the area under its jurisdiction.
“During naka checking, a team of Police Station Domana led by concerned SHO Inspector Tilak Raj and ASI Abdul Rashid rounded up one suspect namely Rishu Dabgotra alias Pasha son of Amarjeet, resident Sangrampur (Jammu) and recovered 9 ‘challies’ of charas weighing 142.32 grams from his possession on search,” a Police spokesman said, adding the charas was wrapped in the maze husk.
He said a case under FIR Number 64/2023 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act was registered in Police Station Domana and the accused got arrested. Further investigation of the case was going on, he added.
The arrest and seizure was made by the Police team under the supervision SDPO Domana Sunil Singh.
