JAMMU, Jan 6: Police arrested a drug peddler along with 1050 intoxicant capsules from main bazaar, RS Pura.
A police spokesman said that, police party from RS Pura police station laid a naka at main bazaar, RS Pura and intercepted a pedestrian on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police team recovered 1050 capsules and arrested the accused, who has been identified as Yuvraj, son of Ved Raj, a resident of ward number 4, RS Pura.
A case under FIR number 5/15 under Section 8/20/21 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at police station RS Pura and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO RS Pura police station Aabid Rafiqi made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Devinder Singh, SP Headquarters Randhir Singh and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
