JAMMU, July 1: Gangyal police arrested a drug peddler and recovered ganja from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by ASI Sat Pal under the supervision of SHO Gangyal Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia and SDPO South Dr Sunniya Ashkoor Wani apprehended a drug peddler along with 6.5 kilograms of ganja.
The arrested person has been identified as Lakshman Kumar Rai, son of Chetan Singh of Bihar, at present Gangyal Garden, Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 61/19 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
